NCLB Musical Reviews from around the Blogosphere
February 10, 2006 12:18 PM
The reviews are in on our NCLB animation. NYC Educator isn't sure about the vocals but says the video makes some good points. The Wawascene, a blog from the great state of Indiana, gives the video a plug, and Tamara Eden, a high school English teacher and blogger from L.A., got a kick out of it. Joe Gandelman, a veteran journalist who blogs at The Moderate Voice thinks the video is fun-filled and zippy. Dave and Kevin at StillFighting.com write, "Who says that activism has to be dry and boring? The American Federation of Teachers has created a snappy little cartoon that illustrates what's wrong with No Child Left Behind." Finally, Gene Shalit thought it was a "real rib-tickler that's fun for the whole family."

Why don't you add a link to the video, as long as you're plugging it?

Thanks to NYC Educator for pointing out the need for a link to the animation on the blog. Done.

Sorry if I offended with my remark about the vocals. As a member of the powerful teachers, union, though, I need only work three jobs. My third happens to involve playing the violin.
Overall, however, today is a good day for teachers:

These guys must go, and "progressive" Eduwonk must join them.

Your video certainly gets results. It made me decide to start saving for private school.
