Hat tip to GLP for alerting me to this play--of sorts--A Funny Thing Happened Leaving No Child Behind. When I clicked on the link, my first thought was, "Does this play cast Margaret Spellings as a dominatrix?" Then I realized that the character pictured was a Zena the Warrior Princess ripoff--apparently part of the show includes "tak[ing] a mythical heroine’s journey and watch[ing] as a veteran teacher rekindles her early career passion." Hmm--sounds a little racy to me, but hey, it played at the ASCD conference in April, maybe it will show up at the AFT's QuEST Conference?
